How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who You Talk To

Many people picture a big call center or a single company. That is not how this works. Chicagofinger Pest Control is a referral service, so you end up speaking with an independent provider in our network.

That person may be a pest technician, a wildlife specialist, or a staff member who books jobs. Each provider runs a separate local business. We do not list staff names here, because the person you reach depends on who is available near you.

What Happens on the First Call

Expect a short, friendly chat. The provider will usually ask:

  • What you have seen, such as droppings, bites, noises or damaged wood
  • Where in the home it shows up
  • How long it has been going on
  • Whether kids or pets are in the house

No need to know the pest's name. Describe it and move on. Then the provider can explain whether an inspection makes sense and when they might be able to visit.

Request a callback to check provider availability in your area.

What to Ask a Provider

A common myth is that all quotes are alike. They are not. A few good questions help you compare:

  • What exactly is included in the price?
  • Will you find and seal how the pests got in?
  • Is there a follow-up visit, and what does it cover?
  • What should I do before and after the visit?
  • Are the products safe around children and pets?
  • Can you show your license and insurance?

Get the answers in writing. Costs vary a lot by job and home, so a written quote protects you.

Prevention Is Part of the Job

Ask what happens after the fix. Good providers talk about sealing gaps, fixing damp areas, storing food well and checking again later. That is how you keep the problem from coming back.

You Are in Control

You choose whether to book. You choose the day and time. You can ask for another provider if the first one is not right. Speaking with a provider does not mean you have agreed to hire them.

If your week is packed, say so up front. Many providers can work around school runs and work hours.
